For the fourth time in as many months I bought a pipe called Tan which turned out to be Mocha Brown. Phillip Krumholz's (philkrum-76 on eBay) photograph and Tan description has brought me to the realization that Tan and Mocha Brown are sequential names for the same color! A full discussion of the confusion is on my Valuing the Pipe page. I feel like a fool, but I have ended the search for Tan pipes. This one is almost as good an example as the one presently in the collection so it goes to the Pipes for Sale page. Nicky Sizemore bought it because it reminded him of a pipe he had long ago.
