Christine Sirot offered this pipe on eBay. I bought it in a lot of pipes. When I contacted Christine and asked if she would sell me just this pipe and keep the others, she graciously agreed. The pipe still has the $15.00 original price tag and is unsmoked. Another real treasure in the collection. Near-perfect must yield to perfect; when a new-in-the-box example came my way several years later, this one went to the Pipes for Trade page.
My friend, Bill Moore, graduated from Clemson University and really likes Orange pipes. When he gave me a Fire Gard ash tray, it was the least I could do to give him this pipe in appreciation.
